Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[68Ga]Ga-DOTA-BCP1 is a gallium-68 radiolabeled bicyclic peptide imaging probe designed for the non-invasive detection of B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA)-positive malignancies, specifically multiple myeloma. The probe consists of a BCMA-targeting bicyclic peptide (BCP1) synthesized using a 1,3,5-tris(bromomethyl)benzene (TBMB) scaffold, forming a stable bicyclic structure via cysteine thiol residues, which is conjugated to the chelator DOTA and radiolabeled with gallium-68 ($^{68}\text{Ga}$). Developed by Peking University First Hospital, [68Ga]Ga-DOTA-BCP1 exhibits high specificity and affinity for BCMA-expressing myeloma cells, rapid renal clearance, and minimal hepatic accumulation, making it a promising candidate for precision PET/CT imaging and monitoring of multiple myeloma.
